Yes! You heard that right! NASA is currently working to launch a lunar mission i.e., Artemis. But there are more reasons to be excited about this initiative - Artemis might just be the gateway for the Second Lunar touchdown mission AKA Moon Landing after the historic Apolo 11 in 1969.

Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on Thursday at 96 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, had become Queen on February 6, 1952; she famously remained oblivious of her metamorphosis for several hours. While his eldest daughter Elizabeth was on safari in Kenya, more than 4,000 miles away, King George VI passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. In his journal, Harold Nicolson, a diplomat, and politician claimed that Elizabeth II became queen "when perched in a branch in Africa, watching the rhinoceros come down to the pool to drink." Later, a member of the royal party recalled a fortunate event: an eagle had flown over Queen Elizabeth's head about the time the King died.

Pakistan is being swept over by super floods and it needs your help

Note: This article sheds light on the current flash flood situation that has affected a significant proportion of Pakistan's provinces.

The government of Pakistan declared an emergency due to monsoon floods, heavy rains fell throughout most of the country. Until now, more than 1200 people have died as a result of the monsoon rains that started in June, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), which reported the figure on Friday. Of those deaths, 34 have occurred within the past 24 hours. Human life aside, cattle of these regions (which are predominantly agriculture-oriented) have been significantly affected. It is estimated that around 17,000 cattle would become victims of the disaster. However, we can only imagine the real death toll of this catastrophe at this point in time. The numbers are most likely way up there.

Gen Z Vs Millennials: A Petty Internet Beef or Passive Aggressive Ageism?

Okay full disclaimer: I am not picking any sides. This is a very non-threatening debate, and actually, it is kind of a fun one!

So here is a thing, I am at the crossroads when it comes to generational division. I am not a millennial so I would be considered a Gen Z (if we go by the books, but who does?). I was a 1998 kid (ooof, Gen Z is already eyeing me aren't they?). But wait, I am not exactly pre-historic. But for the sake of argument, let's say that people like me who were born in LAAATE 90's are kind of mediators between both of these generations. They are a neutral party, which honestly they are. Call us Gen N/A (LOL). So my perspective on the situation comes from a very objective lens. Anyways enough about me, this is about the intervention between Gen Z and Millennials. 

[TV Show Reviews] The Sandman Review and its not looking so good

So Netflix just released this super *promising* show which is giving all kinds of thrill and dark elements. But boy oh boy, was I wrong! This show is BAD and not Riverdale bad, it is BAD BAD.

First thing first: There is NO Story

You heard that right, this show does not have a story. The premise is built like a soap opera i.e., every episode has a completely different storyline and completely different supporting characters and man...does that NOT work. I mean, come on. You are talking about a complex thriller here with all sorts of mystical creatures but you decide to go down the route of a motel soap opera with different Abuelita's every other fortnight. That just does not work. Nu-uh.

The United States of America has for decades conditioned the world into thinking that it indeed was and still is the beacon of freedom. The 1^st Amendment of the constitutional law has become synonymous with a trite that is quoted in the most unsuspected places. However, not so far in History after the abolitionist movement took place in the USA, and the black slaves were lawfully freed – instances like Rosewood Massacre and Tulsa war served as a reminder that perhaps, the racism had indeed seeped deep in the culture of the American land. And perhaps, laws alone did not do much justice to help mitigate the cause of Black People and perhaps, there was still a dire need for the institutional as well as, societal racism to be dismantled from the ground up.

It hasn't even been 24 hours since the absolute abomination of art and fashion took place in the world-famous, Metropolitan Museum of art, or otherwise, very famously, called MET – under the guise of MET GALA. And boy, oh boy, we need to talk about it.

So the theme of the day was, “American,” – The fits however ranged from Halloween to straight-up camp, with no America in plain sight. Or perhaps, that was the point after all?!

We are almost the second year into this pandemic and going on THIRD! Who would have thought? All the woes and hopes of the average citizen, all the dreams of finally having a COVID-free 2021 were crushed not long after we stepped into the new year but to add insult to the injury -- this year is ENDING -- but you know what isn't, COVID-FRICKIN-19! All this spectacle had me thinking - is COVID'19 truly only a modern pandemic? 

Most Fatal Pandemic in History | 14th Century

Now to add more perspective to this rather elusive statement -- we all know of countless pandemics that have ridden this world in the past -- take, for example, the bubonic plague (in other words, the black plague). This plague primarily originated in Europe, central/east Asia (also called Eurasia), and some of North Africa during the 14th century. It hit the hardest in Europe and wiped out MORE than half of its population. The plague was caused by a very deadly bacteria called Yersinia pestis and was characterized by symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, and swollen lymph nodes. This plague alone killed around 75-200 Million people in Eurasia and North African regions, taking 60% of the European population under its fatal claws in just 8 years. In Addition to this, it "single-handedly" reduced the world population from 475 Million to 350-375 Million.

Kimchi is a probiotic Lactic-Acid Fermented vegetable food that is a staple in Korean Cuisine. Basically, it's a probiotic SUPERFOOD (which is GOOD). It is ethnic food. Kimchi is made of many types of vegetables including radishes, red pepper, cabbages, etc. These vegetables are mixed with vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, spices, and red chilies, etc., and then fermented for 3-4 days at room temperature. It has pH of about 4.2-4.5.

Everyone loves food but with so many places to choose from it gets extremely hard to land on a nice place that serves the best food too. However, some pages that post reviews about food items from numerous places come to the rescue. One such emerging new blog goes by the name @notfoody Notfoody reviews food mainly in the capital of Pakistan i.e Islamabad (and Rawalpindi.) It gives you an honest review of what places are worth having a good time with friends and families or just for dining out for a change and what places are sort of miss.

A Piece of Me

When growing up, a teacher—Miss Dorothy asked me to keep a journal with me. This tome lies flat on my desk, bent corners and monochrome composition of the binding is slowly fading, as everyone I know. When looked inside—filled with undaunted words, some left in half, some in full. A release from a stressful day, I could write about whatever I chose, flipping thin pages of this rusty book, I could see my futile attempts to assassinate a fancy prose, I would try so hard on a sunny day resting on my squeaking wooden chair.

I've been exploring the world of photography since three years and to tell you the truth - there is no more beautiful thing than capturing any object of attraction with absolute perfection. Photography is magical...buutt it takes several trial and error to master the art. It's always good to consult someone who has an exposure in this field as a head start -- it helps you avoid mistakes you wish you had.

LESSON NO#1 - Always Shoot RAW

This is exclusively for the lot that is going to take photography very seriously and is not going to restrict it's value to better facebook displays - for the later lot, I would recommend JPEG.

▪So what exactly is RAW and JPEG?

You see, our photographs have a certain file type aka format. A DSLR allows you to take your photo in either RAW or JPEG(high or low) or JPEG+RAW (basically two files, simultaneously). 

Third-World Problems

Okay real talk - third world. That's kind of a birth disadvantage to be born in one. Now sorry, I know you love your country and culture and these ranks are just sometimes very bullshitty. I know that. But, these ranks really do kind of effect you in a way that could make you pull your hair out.

Guide for dummies born yesterday: So this world is divided into three categories. We have the third category - that is somewhat an average labour class from a distant point of view. Then we have the second category - the working class. And then we have the first category - the elite class. Now, this explanation is a mere "expression."

How social media is reshaping an individual's success story

Now, I know I am going to get bashed to talk about such a cliché topic. I mean, yeah yeah - everybody knows this. But hear me out for a second, you might just discover something important.

There is a reason as to why I chose individual level rather than a social level. It's not new that social media has been directing our social life in every direction possible. In fact, to talk about today, social media is the most important factor in our society, to begin with. At the same time (in most cases) if it does effect you individually --- you are either considered lucky maybe because you just went viral or unlucky maybe because your girlfriend just dumped you after snitching your whatsapp messages.

But the (crucial-case) individual level at which social media does effect you though is far greater - think about life or death situation.
